Nailtiques : Review

This month we reviewed some of our favourite Nailtiques products. This is what we thought:

Nail Moisturizer

Nailtiques Nail Moisturizer is a greaseless fortified conditioning crème enriched with soluble collagen, jojoba and aloe.

The jojoba and aloe provide nourishing and conditioning benefits while the collagen restores moisture and promotes nail flexibility.
Healthy nails are not only strong, but flexible.

What we thought:

This crème is beautiful. It is thick and rich, and the moisture soaks into the nails. I have definitely noticed a difference with this product; my nails feel much healthier and stronger.

Avocado Foot Crème

Avocado Foot Crème is a deep penetrating, non - greasy moisturizing crème rich in avocado oil. Specifically formulated for feet to aid in the healing of rough, dry or cracked skin. Ideal for use on calloused areas.

What we thought:

This is my absolute favourite product from Nailtiques, and one of my favourite foot cremes of all time. Avocado is something a little bit different from the usual peppermint foot creams, and the smell is divine. It is so creamy, and works well on dry areas of your feet. I put it on before bed and when I woke up my feet were silky and smooth. My feet get neglected when it comes to pampering, so I adore this product and so do my feet.

And now for the ultimate test…

My nails are quite healthy, especially after using the Nailtiques Nail Moisturizer so I decided to go for the big test. My partner has peeling nails and hard, cracked cuticles from years of biting and chewing (horrible, I know). I decided the best way to review these products would be to try them on his hands. Here is the outcome:

What we used:

Formula 2

Nailtiques Protein Formulas were created for different nail conditions. The salon tested formulations offer special combinations of ingredients, including hydrolysed keratin and protein in combination with gelatin and calcium.

Cuticle and Skin Gel

Cuticle and Skin Gel is a glycerin and aloe enriched formula which conditions and penetrates deeply into the skin. The gel acts immediately to help soften cuticles, promote healing of cracked cuticles and restore smoothness to rough skin.

Results:

While there is no way that I could stop him chewing his nails, there was a way for me to improve the condition of the nails he has left. His cuticles were always so difficult to push down; they were very hard and thick. The cuticle gel helped to soften them, as well as help to reduce the redness that surrounded them.

Formula 2 is a really hard working product, and definitely helped to improve the strength of his nails over the period of time. His nails used to peal, but now they are looking a lot healthier.
I am very satisfied with this range of products!
