tweezers

While on the subject of groomed eyebrows, an often overlooked tool is the eyebrow comb. Eyebrows can usually be used not just for eyebrows, but for separating eyelashes after mascara application. An inexpensive tool that is worth having in your kit.

eyelash curler

Eyelash curlers are not essential, but are a great tool for curling your lashes and showing off your eyes. Especially good for special occasions, either a traditional or heated eyelash curler is a good addition to your makeup kit.

pencil sharpener

If you use pencil eyeliner or lipliner, having a pencil sharpener will be useful. They won’t stay sharp forever and there is nothing worse than trying to use a blunt pencil on your delicate eye area. Try to find a design that is made for cosmetic pencils.

brushes

One of the most important tools you will need when applying makeup are brushes. It is good to have at least an eyeshadow brush, a brush for your cheeks and a lip brush. Brushes come in a range of sizes and quality so you can choose which best suits your lifestyle.
