Jane finds her family business in a slow decline: rooms are too small, the equipment is obsolete and the hotel doesn't keep up with competition anymore.

However, Jane refuses to give up and takes management into her own hands. Jane takes a loan that she must  pay back in 20 days! WHAT WE THOUGHT

Jane’s Hotel was an extremely popular game for our readers, and we are excited to share with you the launch of the sequel: Jane’s Hotel – Family Hero.

Jane is back and like all good game follow ups, it is an improvement on the first one. The graphics are better and the game runs more smoothly. You can earn money to purchase staff upgrades and furniture, these help to increase your popularity, earning potential and allow you to gain extra customers.

As you work your way through the 50 levels, the game does become more challenging. This time around you have your maid to help – vacuuming, changing bed linen, clothes cleaning and watering plants. You also have a new addition, the porter. He brings customers their suitcases, makes repairs, takes photographs and sells souvenirs in the gift shop.

It gets quite busy as Jane and her staff become in high demand. You can chain actions and carry up to two items at once, and in this version the plants can be watered at anytime.

Like the first version, the final hotel does still require you to scroll across your screen which can be a bit awkward at times, but I think it adds to the challenge. After you have finished each level you can choose to stay – keep playing the same level to earn more money for upgrades, while trying to beat that expert goal, or progress to the next stage.

The hotel environment really is one of a kind, I haven’t seen any other time management games around quite like the Jane’s Hotel series.
