There seems to be an endless supply of Hidden Object games, and they are becoming hugely popular for casual game fans. There are a few new ones to look out for, here is just a small selection for those of you who like to seek and find!

Miss Teri Tale

Just where is Jason? I had better first say that Jason is prizewinning show dog. The problem is, he has been kidnapped! The storyline is that his owners are beside themselves with worry, and the police are confused. That is where you (Miss Teri Tale a famous mystery writer) come in. Your role in the game is to find Jason!

This is quite a unique Hidden Object Game, and the creators have placed a lot of emphasis on graphics and storyline. Search locations to find clues, and discover just who the kidnapper is. It is quite fun, and they have done a good job in pushing the boundaries of this genre. I did find it a bit slow loading at times so you need an ok computer to be able to run it. You can’t fast find either, which means it isn’t for those who are impatient!

The Count of Monte Cristo

It is likely you would have heard of the story of the Count of Monte Cristo, a novel (and now movie) written by author, Edmond Dantes. It is a tale of love, betrayal, imprisonment and revenge. This hidden object game is based on this story, and that is probably the most appealing aspect of it.

It is your classic; seek and find game, and while it might not be as innovative as others out there, it is for those who like the tried and tested models.

There are your usual mini games, which you can skip if you are willing to sacrifice time and hints! The music fit the game perfectly, very relaxing and olden day. All the locations have been well designed to fit with the story.

Cate West: The Vanishing Files

Cate West: The Vanishing Files is pushing the boundaries when it comes to seek and find games. It is one of the most innovative games in its class, with an interesting storyline and heroine, and good quality graphics and locations.

With 75 levels of gameplay, your character Cate has to investigate crimes, with the help of her sensitive visions. Eliminate possible subjects using the clues you have found. Not just looking for objects, there really feels like there is a point to this one.

The Haunted Hotel Game

Then there is the new game “The Haunted Hotel”. After the lead character has a car accident, he checks into a hotel. Not just any hotel – this one is haunted. The Haunted Hotel also has an interesting storyline, as you search for items in different rooms in the hotel.
There are the usual mini games and some new challenges too.

Not overly creepy, but fun nonetheless, The Haunted Hotel will keep you entertained!
