The Bone adventures begin as three cousins -- Fone Bone, Phoney Bone and Smiley Bone -- become separated in a vast, uncharted desert. One by one, they find their way into a deep, forested valley filled with wonderful and terrifying creatures.

Shortly after Fone Bone sets out to find his cousins and a way back to Boneville, he meets up with a brave and fetching female companion named Thorn, Thorn's cow racing Gran'ma Ben, a mysterious red dragon and threatening, quiche-loving rat creatures.

As the story unfolds, the Bone cousins eventually re-unite in the town of Barrel Haven on the eve of the Great Cow Race. Little do they know, the rat creatures are conspiring against them with the shadowy Hooded One and their adventures are only just beginning!

Awards for the highly acclaimed Bone series include the prestigious Eisner Award for Best Writer/Artist (Humor category), the Harvey Award for Best Cartoonist, Italy's Yellow Kid Award for Best Author, Spain's Premios Expocomic for Best Foreign Comics, and Finland's Lempi International for Best International Cartoonist.

WHAT WE THOUGHT

If you have children, then this is for you. This is a game you can enjoy with your kids, but be warned, you may just get addicted yourself!

Based on the Bone books by Jeff Smith, the graphics are cute, unusual and very fun!
Unlike a lot of dark, serious point and click adventure games, Bone – Out from Boneville is bright and bubbly, with sound effects to match.

You will love the different characters, from the Bones, to the evil and stupid, Rat Creatures. Using the different Bones makes it interesting, and you have to choose carefully which conversations you decide to have.

Having hints and walkthroughs built into the game, means you don’t get stuck and can progress onto the next stage.

Kids will enjoy the game play and the lovable characters, while you will appreciate the touch of adult humour.

Definitely one for the whole family, with an ending that will leave you wanting more!

My verdict – RAVE - Fun for the whole family!
