With the growing number of women frequenting hardware stores and tackling their own projects around the home, Sandra Dobbin - CEO of Master Distributors decided that it was time to address the fact that the tools on the market were still being made for the traditional user, the male. After almost 2 years of extensive research, diywoman™ was born.

Providing an extensive range of both hardware and garden products and tools, diywoman™ covers all basic DIY projects in and around the home, with the hope of providing women the confidence to do-it-themselves.

WHAT WE THOUGHT

When I came across diywoman™ I was really excited and knew it was something we would love to bring to our readers. After trying these products, I was not disappointed.
With soft grip handles, these tools are made for a woman’s hands, and you can hang them up for easy storage. I love the bright signature colours of purple and green, I never thought I would say this about tools, but they are stylish and must have items for the modern woman.

The prices are affordable, and their range includes everything you need for odd jobs and gardening.
What’s more, they are a Gold Partner of the “National Breast Cancer Foundation” and every product sold helps them to raise $60,000 per year to fund breast cancer research in Australia, so by buying these products you are helping a good cause!

This year they are also a proud sponsor of the Chairs for Charity event held 25th November 2006. Visit their website www.diywoman.com.au for more information.
