WHAT WE THOUGHT

I just finished reading the Little Black Dress title “Chinese Whispers” by the talented Marisa Mackle.

It was an enjoyable read and the focus was on friendship rather than romance which was a refreshing change.

Main character Fiona is stuck in a job she hates (I am sure we have all been there) and her life takes a dramatic change when her best friend and roommate moves out due to a misunderstanding.

Without giving too much away, she gets a new job and a new roommate … who comes with a crazy ex boyfriend and a range of other problems, which makes things more interesting (and exhausting mind you)!

A fun read which had me hooked from the first page. Chinese Whispers shows how easily gossip can get out of hand, and the importance of true friendship.
