WHAT WE THOUGHT

The Breakup Club by Melissa Senate

This is a chick lit novel with a difference! It is a story about four characters, which are all experiencing break ups of some sort or another. It is witty and funny, but also gives a really great message to readers. I usually like a soppy ending but even though the characters didn’t all fall in love with one another, they all find happiness in themselves which was just as good!
I really couldn’t put this book down, the characters were all adorable, at times a little bit tragic, but nonetheless lovable.

The Break up club helped them gain strength, without completely losing their minds.
In all, I loved the characters and really enjoyed the style of writing.

This book comes highly recommended by Beauty and Lace readers, and specifically chick lit fans looking for a good natured and funny read.
